Wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:28-31)

Brothers and sisters, it is my great joy and excitement to write a note to all of you, in hopes and prayers that it brings encouragement and comfort to those who read and examine. For what i write is not words that are flattering to the hearers or words that make you look at me, but i speak words that are from the most High Jesus the Christ, they are words that are from His Holy words, words that bring healing, strength, restoration, comfort, peace and joy in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For His words are the only words that can do all of the above, what can i say or do to change man? Did i change me? Or did God change me? God did! so He will also change and comfort those who are in need of it. Let me tell you, we are all beat up daily with the things that are about us throughout the day, whether it be the world, people, ministry ect...... Whatever it may be, But know this we have the answer, we have the medicine, we have the hope, we have the peace and joy in the midst of those trials, Jesus Christ, for He promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us, He promises that He will draw close to us if we will draw close to Him, those are promises and promises to hold on to and promises to speak and promises to breath, they are the most beautiful promises that has ever been promised to me, but not to just me, but all who are the chosen ones, the elect, the sons and daughters of the Most High. So know my brothers and sisters, know my beloved friends. If you are weak, if you have fainted, if you have lost all strength, if you have fallen, Go to the one who, is not weak, has not fainted, has not fallen, for He is the one who will strengthen us and give us the strength and ability to keep on going for Him, and when all around us is falling and people around us is fainting and all is weak, we will rise up in Christ Jesus and we will be the testimony of who He is, and we will shine so bright that man will see Him and glorify Him, amen! So please take the time to read this scripture and chew on it and rest upon it, and know my beloved, you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. God bless and know i love you, God loves you and continue to shine for Him. Blessings!

"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

The Real Enemy

This topic has been on my mind for the last couple of days because as we have been working on things in preparation to return to Ch*na we have hit roadblock after roadblock with no end in sight. We also hear of other peoples struggles and trials in their lives and ministries while they are serving God.

Ephesians 6:12 says who the real enemy really is. They are not of flesh and blood! "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

If you really think about this verse that is a very wicked, dark and evil enemy. He does not want us to have the victory. He will throw out every stumbling block possible because he does not want us to succeed in serving Jesus. He does not want you or your ministry to succeed!

The rest of Ephesians 6 tells us how we can have victory. Satan is very powerful but compared to God's strength and power he doesn't even begin to compare. God has given us what we need to protect ourselves from the enemy.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

We have all this armor available to us and we need to be wearing it, all the time! Satan is looking for any weakness in the armor, lets be keeping this armor on! Keep on trusting in Jesus and do what He has given you to do! If you are at a point where it feels impossible and there is nothing you can do but trust in Jesus and rely on His promises to you then you are in a good spot! Keep pressing forward and continue to trust in Jesus! Has He ever let any of us down?!! He is worthy of SO much praise!

So, rest in Jesus and keep pressing on!

The sheep and the goats

The sheep and the goats

Part 1 (31-33)

(Judgment, dividing of the Sheep and the Goats)

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[a] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.”

Part 2 (34-40)

(The Sheep)

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

Part 3 (41-45)

(The Goats)

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him,[b] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.”

Part 4 (46)

(Eternity, with or without Christ)

“And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

My brothers and my sisters, beloved one of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the one who bought us with His blood, to sanctify and cleanse us from our self and death, to call us unto Himself unto salvation, not to us only but also unto them that believe. We are called to Love Him and love one another, we are called to serve Him and serve one another, we are called to suffer for Him and suffer for one another, we are called to sacrifice all for Him and sacrifice for one another, we are to lay down our lives for Him and for others. We are to be humbled before the Almighty God and seek Him diligently, and then we are to go out and serve people and be a light unto this world that they may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven. That my friends is what we are called to. There is one thing though, we can not do that on our own, if we try we will fail and we can easily become very prideful, selfish people who does not care about Christ or others, in other words we can become Goats, which we see in matthew 25: 41-45, are selfish and because of it they did not enter into eternity with Christ, very sad. I desire to be a sheep not a goat, it is not easy though, as i said we can not do it on our own, we need help, what or who is that help? Well Jesus gave us that help when He ascended into Heaven to be with His Father, that help is His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, for He will teach us all things and bring all things to remembrance, so that we can go out and love Christ and go out and love others. May we stand up and walk in the Spirit and love Christ and others and sacrifice and serve Christ and others. We need to be the sheep which we see what they do and we see their reward for loving Christ and others, we see that in matthew 25: 34-40. So with this said, let us shine for Jesus and do good works through the Holy Spirit and may people see our love and service unto Christ and unto them, and with that they will know we are Christ’s disciples by our love for one another and they will glorify our Father in Heaven. God bless, love you guys and always shine for Jesus.

Let us not be moved!

Psalms 16:8 I have always set the Lord before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

This verse has been a huge comfort to me these last couple of weeks as we face mountains that are overwhelmingly large. Without knowing that He is at my right hand it would be very easy to run! Brothers and Sisters, let us everyday be making sure that we are setting the Lord before us! Let us be fulfilling His will in our lives on a daily basis and remember if He is our rock we can not be moved!

1 Corinthians 14:3-4

"But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church."

Brothers and sisters this is what we are called to, we are here to edify exhort an comfort one another in Christ Jesus, for His glory. So may we be an encouragement to one another, in words and deeds(works) for by our love for one another they will know we are disciples of Christ. Amen! Love you guys God bless and be strong and always shine for Jesus.
